The aircraft has equipped with PT-6A Pratt & Whitney Canada engine with 680 horse powers, external under wing tank for long range, Hartzell propeller and Garmin 950 integrated flight Deck system. This has Weather radar, GPS and ELT. Our aircraft has an auto-pilot system which is really rear among small aircrafts around the world. Because of Mongolian extreme weather conditions we decided to add floats, so we could land on water and the ski so we could land on snow. Also our aircraft has satellite phone, so it can be contacted anytime, anywhere.
THE PILATUS PC-6 is an economical, single-engined turboprop aircraft with:
• All metal construction
• High wing
• Fixed landing gear
Its main duties are:
• Passenger or cargo with quick conversion capabilities
• It also has a wide range of additional roles.
Its low-pressure, oversize tires and tail-wheel steering for rough or soft surfaces, 52 knot stall speed at MTOW for very short take-off and landing ground roll makes it unique as well as Propeller beta mode for steep approaches to landing strips with difficult access and positive drag/speed control for accurate touch-down. PC-6 Porter’s Propeller reverse mode for very short landing ground roll and unequalled ground maneuverability gives it even more uniqueness than mentioned above.
Manufactured in 2011 Pilatus PC-6 has 2 pilot seats and 6 passengers seats.
